Artist Statement.

"Through my Art, I explore the essence of truth and consistency, reminding people, and myself, to work with Nature and Love."

I have chosen symbolic depictions of the Male and Female.
The interplay of these two dynamic opposites represents the energy of life itself. The seeking of balance towards an ultimate goal of harmony, externally or internally and also potentially...
Working towards Enlightenment.
Most Art has a desire to make us question. In the case of my EROS and ROSE series, it is our psychological interactions, driven by physiological desires that are under scrutiny.

Kristeena Saville

Exposure at Red Star.

Here I am outside the Red Star Cafe in Hepburn Springs Victoria for my feature month. I did this piece especially as I felt the whole window area needed to be taken into account. I had this crappy old concertina canvas hanging about, cut the top of and it fit perfect...
In my world this means that it is meant to be.

Here is the work back at home in my studio.
What you can't see behind the floating front piece is the same sex symbolism, intended to highlight the importance of intimate relations that do not usually intend to propagate. The floating piece on the other hand is 'the child', relevant to my own, yet to explore but still protected and nurtured by the parent.

'Forbidden Fruit'...

A better late posted than never realised blog... Is this the moment that I promise to myself, I will feed the computer my heart and soul in written word and pictures for all the scrutinise? Of course, this is the quest of all artists across many genres.
Criticism is at least a passionate response and in this case has provoked one of equality and poetically damning piece of short literature to the critics. Justice.
