Love is... Portraiture.

This is a panoramic view of my Studio today...

Within this vista are first two portraits in a range I titled 'Love is...' Indicative of undertones in my themed work EROS and ROSE. The sitters are being selected by their support and/or involvement in the Arts. Jen and Jodie (portraits above) have come into my studio, opened their hearts and coined one word that encompasses what Love is... from their perspective. With this insight, these paintings express much more than the image or likeness of the subject.

Blowing in the Wind...

Second Prize in the Local Hepburn Shire Swiss Italian Festa Lanscape Art Prize.
The criteria is that all submissions are of the local area, no more that 25kms from the town centre.
Here's me, looking pretty happy, wine in hand... Local of course!

 This is a better quality picture of my work.

 This picture is to show how I have painted the sides and that the blocks are of varying depth.

All the sides are painted, some of the fronts are photo's, one is a photo montage... pick it. 

It is these photo's of our Balloon Flights that were the source of my inspiration and they are locations of and around Daylesford, both Jubilee and the main lake, Bullarto, Smeaton, Mt.Franklin, Blampied, Dean and I had one of Creswick but it got lost. No matter, there will be plenty more to come.

These works are for sale and I would be happy with $800 for the whole set.
